I found a hidden local burger shop. Nice food, incredible reasonable price and friendly staff! I ordered their signature beef burger for takeaway, adding bacon, egg, pineapple, and aioli. It was big and tasted fantastic! I’ll definitely come back to try more.
Wanted a traditional take away shop to grab a proper bacon and egg roll before we hit the road to travel back home. Saw good reviews for Joan's Kitchen so we stopped there. So glad we did. The food was just like home made. The (I'm assuming) owners were so friendly. The shop was clean and welcoming. We definitely will be back when in the area again.

Just wanted to have a coffee in waiting for my car to be fixed. Ended up to take burgers, no specific expectations.....surprisingly incredibly good food and coffees and yet, everything was so cheap as well ! Cap oat milk and iced long black, didn't taste like juste coffee, they were absolutely delicious and omg the burgers. Fish and beef ones 10/10 . Love your job guys! When I say best Aussie burger on the coast I mean it! You won’t find one at this price anywhere! Juicy beef patty, that classic bbq sauce, grilled onions beetroot (a must to classsify as traditional) lettuce tomato normal bun (none of that fancy brioche) ahhhhh go get one or two, excellent place!
Absolute hidden gem on the Gold Coast. From the outside you’d never expect just how good this place is, but wow — Jones Kitchen seriously delivers. The burgers are genuinely delicious, the chips are spot on, and the serving sizes are massive. Proper comfort food done right. It’s got that classic workers meal / cafe food vibe, but with way better quality than you’d expect for the price. Tremendous value for money. What really made the experience though was the lovely lady at the counter — super friendly, welcoming and just genuinely nice to deal with. You leave full, happy, and already planning what you’ll order next time. If you’re near Ashmore and want an honest, satisfying feed without paying ridiculous prices, this place is an absolute must try. 10/10 hidden gem.
